Air Filters are equipped on virtually every vehicle on the road today with a combustion engine. These filters serve a purpose of filtrating the air entering the engine air intake or carburetor (older vehicles). This device removes dust, pollen, mold, and bacteria from the air that can be harmful to the engine. It is important to change the engine air filter as part of regular maintenance. When the filter begins to appear much darker in color, it is a sign that the filter is doing its job in collecting contaminates.
Air Filters come in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. It is important to note that Air Filters change frequently with new models and the filter from the last generation model in most cases does not work with the new generation.
